New Zealand’s recent contemporary jewellery conference, Jemposium, saw an array of international makers, curators, critics, collectors and admirers congregate to speak about aspects of the field. Vicki Mason will report on her experience of the symposium and with other Melbourne delegates who attended, discuss key themes, topics, trends and the broader programme of events.
Vicki Mason has been making unique, innovative and conceptually engaging jewellery since the mid 1990s. Her work continues to be appreciated and her most rececnt achievement saw her complete a Master of Philosophy degree (Research) in gold and silversmithing at ANU.
