What are they doing in there?
Come and find out what Northcity4 looks like from the inside! Come and meet our generous and good looking tenants and perhaps even purchase a handmade heirloom; come and check out our equipment; observe the making of a handmade ring from melting of the metal to the final polish; and come and partake in our sausage sizzle and down some warming mulled wine.
Northcity4 will open its doors from 11-3pm on Saturday August 6 and welcome the public to view the space, witness jewellery making classes in action and meet the artists working here. There will be artist demonstrations and jewellery and artwork for sale. We will be cranking up the bbq and cooking up some warming mulled wine.
Technical Demonstrations schedule:
11:15 am melting silver and pouring an ingot with Northcity4 teacher Rhys Turner
11:45 am rolling down the poured ingot and printing a pattern using the rolling mills
12:30 pm forming, soldering and finishing a ring using the printed metal with Northcity4 artist Mehrnoosh Ganji
