Amanda Croatto has a lifelong passion for textiles and surface design, and this informs her approach to her work. She uses collage, printmaking, enamelling, layering, stitching and riveting to incorporate repurposed and found objects into her colourful and playful work. She has had solo exhibitions in printmaking and sculpture, and has taken part in numerous group exhibitions. After teaching in the renowned Folio Preparation Program at NCAT for 7 years she has recently joined Northcity4 as a studio tenant, in order to concentrate on her growing jewellery practice.
Amanda has degree in Textile Design from RMIT University, Dip Ed, and Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
