Amanda Croatto has a lifelong interest in textiles and surface design, and this informs her approach to her work. She uses collage, printmaking, enamelling, layering, stitching and riveting to incorporate repurposed and found objects into her colourful and playful work. She has had solo exhibitions in printmaking and sculpture, and has taken part in numerous group exhibitions. Since joining NorthCity4 as a studio tenant in 2016 her practice has grown to include working with titanium using simple shapes and concentrating on the range of colour and pattern possible with this metal.
Amanda continues to expand her skill set, enjoying exploring new materials and techniques, as well as the more familiar.
Amanda has degree in Textile Design from RMIT University (2003)
